INQUIRY NOTES FOR THOSE SEEKING TO LIST EQUIPMENT FOR SALE

Please send an email to experience@usedfurnaces.com with as much of the following information as possible:
  • Name and address
  • Company Name
  • Phone Number
  • Type of equipment, make, model, condition, temperature range, how heated (gas or electric),utility requirements, etc.  
  • Please provide an "honest" description of the condition of the item for sale.  Customers are typically extremely knowledgeable about their processes and required equipment.  They do not appreciate "surprises" any more than you would.  
  • Ballpark asking price and time frame to complete sale
  • Attach a few pictures - general outside view, inside, close up of controls, inside of control enclosure, and any other interesting features.
    • The purpose of the pictures is to get a prospect on an airplane to see your system - no more that 1/2 dozen is enough, usually.    
  • Closest airport to the equipment.  Please note if you can pick up and return a prospect to this airport.
We are mostly interested in thermal processing equipment that would sell for at least $20K - unless it is a high demand item.  Most sales work like a "virtual consignment shop" in that we will first directly contact prospects looking for what your are selling, then if that does not work, we will consider posting the item to our web site.  Asking price will be in the fair market value range, but, we do not care what any item sells for - so long as it sells.  Buyers are encouraged to make low bids and we advise sellers to "hold their ground" during negotiations - in order to make the most money.  Our commission is stated as "10% or $2,000 - whichever is greater".  All is, of course, negotiable and we do not make a dime until the sale is closed. 

If possible, our preference is to have an exclusive right to sell your equipment. 

We will manage the entire sales process - issuing a purchase order to the seller and an invoice to the buyer.  Equipment is subject to being sold until a non-refundable down payment is received.  Terms are paid in full prior to shipment and all transactions are by wire transfers.  There is no warranty with your equipment an all sales are final.
