InertGas models (U.S. Patent
4,557,203) expand the Controlled Pyrolysis systems with enhanced
abilities to clean parts with heat rather than with chemicals. InertGas
models leave the primary burner on all the time to produce an
oxygen-deficient atmosphere inside the furnace, i.e., approximately 10%
oxygen instead of the usual 21% as in the air. As oxygen is necessary
for ignition of any combustible material, more difficult materials with
greater volatilities can be safely processed in larger amounts. The
furnace temperature controller and the stack temperature controller
each operate double water spray mists at double
set-points for maximum protection. Back-up water spray for clogged
nozzles, automatic-reset high-limit, manual-reset high-limit,
rapid-heat afterburner, automatic time cycle, automatic cool-down, and
diagnostic panel are included. Optional melt collectors shorten cycle
times and fuel expense because if the material will melt & flow it
does not have to completely pyrolyzed to be removed.

plastics, waxes, resins, hot melt adhesives, tars, carbonized residues,
paints, powder-coatings, oils, greases, asphalts, and other organic
materials from metal parts leaving them clean and ready to reuse,
rebuild, reclaim, or recycle... Ideal for cleaning a wide variety of
metal parts such as extruder hardware, dies, filters, nozzles, polymer
melt pumps, screws, screens, metal or ceramic catalysts, production
piping, heat exchangers, automobile & truck engines & parts,
painted parts, hooks, hangers, transformers, oil filters, and other
metal parts.
