Vacuum melter system is available for
sale. The system is in excellent condition and can be acquired
immediately. Details of the system are as follows:

Chamber: Four feet diameter, five
feet deep. Copper coil cooled steel chamber. Front end
door. Vacuum feed through for melt pouring and additions.
|
|
|
Vacuum System: Roots blower, filter
system, 10 inch diffusion pump, 5 HP mechanical pump
(recently rebuilt). Appropriate valving and controls.
|
|
|
Operating Vacuum: 50 microns or
better during melting and pouring in recent usage. Vacuum can be
much improved with leak checking. The system is capable of 0.1
microns.
|
|
|
Power Supply: 75 KW manufactured by
INDUCTOTHERM. VIP Power Trak:
3,000 cycle. Very few hours of
use. Several different sized crucibles or graphite susceptors. Standard melt size is 75
pounds of steel.

|
|

Delivery: System could be prepared
